Brick Balm
WALL BRICK BALSAM is excellent for deepening and impregnating the color of bricks and broken bricks.
One of the active ingredients of the product, silicone resin, significantly reduces the building material's ability to absorb water through capillary action.
The other active ingredient of the product, silicone varnish, optically brightens the color of the surface. With its use, new bricks do not fade, and broken bricks regain their bright color, as if they were new. It clogs pores and capillaries, which reduces or even eliminates the surface's ability to breathe! This is true for all commercially available color-enhancing products!!!
By using it, we can prevent nitrate formation and salt efflorescence. Always check the compatibility of the product with the surface to be treated in a less visible place before use!

Storage:
WALL BRICK BALSAM can be stored in its original, closed container at 0-30 oC for at least 24 months from the date indicated on the label. If the product's shelf life has expired, the material may still be good, which must be confirmed by a preliminary test.
After opening, the material must be stored hermetically sealed, because the material reacts with the humidity of the air.
Application:
WALL BRICK BALSAM should be used undiluted. It is recommended to apply it to the surface to be treated with a brush or spray. The application should always be done in at least 2 layers.
In order to achieve a more vibrant color, more than two layers can be applied. The surface to be treated must be dry to the touch!
Application temperature: 10-30 oC.
Coverage:
For two coats of 1 m2 of brick surface, 0.5-1 liter is sufficient.
In the case of very porous, broken bricks, the material requirement can reach 1-1.5 liters.The practical average is 0.7 liters/m2.
Always carry out a test treatment on the surface to be treated. This way you can calculate, for example, the desired amount of material.
Important: Before applying, carefully cover windows and non-absorbent surfaces, as the product sets so quickly that it is very difficult or impossible to remove. If it splashes on glass, wash it immediately with soapy water or, if necessary, with a solvent.
Attention: The surface to be treated must not be overheated!
