STONE PROTECTOR MAX

Oil-repellent stone impregnation

STONE PROTECTOR MAX, which meets the requirements of the 21st century, thanks to its special active ingredient content, makes the treated mineral-based surfaces not only water-repellent (hydrophobic), but also oil-repellent (oleophobic).

Suitable for treating inorganic building materials of mineral origin.
Floors made of natural stone, artificial stone and unglazed ceramic tiles can be easily cleaned and maintained, and can also be easily cleaned of graphics, poster residues and similar dirt.

Floors and their joints, window sills made of stone, artificial stone, unglazed ceramic tiles do not stain, dirt can be easily removed from the surface.

We recommend high-pressure hot water washing for cleaning.

Storage:

STONE PROTECTOR MAX can be stored in its original, closed container at temperatures between 0-30 oC for at least 24 months from the date indicated on the label. If the product's shelf life has expired, the material may still be good, which must be confirmed by a preliminary test.

Application:

It is recommended to apply STONE PROTECTOR MAX in two layers by pouring, brushing or large-drop spraying (the material should flow over the surface). The second layer must always be applied before the first layer dries ("wet-on-wet" method)!

For natural materials with low porosity, e.g. marble, travertine and granite, one layer is sufficient.

The surface to be treated must appear dry to the eye and must be absorbent.

Any dirt that has already got on the surface to be treated must be removed as thoroughly as possible (especially paint), because it is very difficult to remove it after the protective layer has been applied and set.

Always carry out a test treatment on the surface to be treated. This way you can calculate, for example, the desired amount of material or the effectiveness of the agent, and avoid possible discoloration.

The consumption depends on the absorbency of the surface: 0.05 - 1 l/m2.

The water and oil repellent effect develops after 24 - 48 hours.

Attention: The product must NOT be sprayed or TEDDY-rolled (brushed or sprinkled)!
The surface to be treated must not be overheated!
Application temperature: 10-30 oC.

Important: Before application, carefully cover windows and non-absorbent surfaces, as the product sets so quickly that it is very difficult or impossible to remove. If it splashes on glass, wash it off immediately with soapy water or, if necessary, with a solvent. It cannot be used on or near surfaces containing solvent-sensitive materials (nickel, polystyrene, bitumen, etc.)!

Dirt on the treated surface: oil, grease or paint, must be cleaned immediately, because, for example, paint, if it dries on the surface, is particularly difficult to clean.

Removing dirt:

The contaminated surface can be cleaned with hot water or steam. It is preferable to use a high-pressure cleaning device (e.g. 90 oC, 20 bar).

After cleaning, the protection must be repeated!

Attention: You can use it on a listed building or a building of a listed building only at your own risk. If you have already treated the surface with something, it may not achieve the effect you want!
