POINTING PROTECTOR
Pointing impregnating agent
POINTING PROTECTOR is excellent for treating joints.
As a result, the joint material does not absorb water, thus it does not get dirty or moldy.
Unlike other similar products, POINTING PROTECTOR does not contain solvents, so the excess material on the tiles and paving slabs does not cause stains.
Apply the material with a brush in at least two layers ("wet-on-wet" method) corresponding to the width of the joint. After work, wash the tools with water.
The product can also be used outdoors (e.g. when laying out plinths with stone, on terraces), so the joint can also be protected from frost damage.
Storage:
POINTING PROTECTOR can be stored in its original, closed container at 0-30 oC for at least 24 months from the date indicated on the label. However, experience has shown that it can be stored for up to 3 years without deterioration in quality.
During storage, surface creaming may occur, but this is not an irreversible process, i.e. after brief shaking or mixing, a homogeneous substance with unchanged properties is obtained again.
POINTING PROTECTOR contains a small amount of preservative against microorganisms and fungi.
Application:
Apply POINTING PROTECTOR to the grout by brushing it in at least two layers on the surface to be treated. The second layer must always be applied before the first layer dries ("wet-on-wet" method)!
The surface to be treated must appear dry to the eye and be absorbent.
The material requirement for a two-layer treatment, depending on the absorbency of the surface: 25 - 30 m2/liter.
Always carry out a test treatment on the surface to be treated. This way, you can calculate, for example, the desired amount of material or the effectiveness of the agent, and avoid possible discoloration.
The treatment should be carried out with a "groove-wide" brush if possible. Wipe off any product that gets on the grout before it dries with a damp cloth or sponge, making sure that no water gets on the freshly treated grout.
After work, wash the tools with water.
Caution: The surface to be treated must not be overheated!
Treatment temperature: 10-30 oC.
