CONCRETE STONE PROTECTOR MAX
Oil-repellent paving stone impregnation
OIL-REPELLENT PAVING STONE IMPREGNATOR - CONCRETE STONE PROTECTOR MAX, which meets the requirements of the 21st century and contains a special active ingredient, makes treated concrete-based paving stones and concrete surfaces not only water-repellent (hydrophobic), but also oil-repellent (oleophobic).
Oily, greasy dirt and poster residues on surfaces treated with the agent can be easily cleaned.
Floors, wall surfaces and walking surfaces made of concrete-based coverings and paving stones do not stain, dirt can be easily removed from the surface.
We recommend high-pressure hot water washing for cleaning.
Storage:
OIL-REPELLENT PAVEMENT STONE IMPREGNATION - CONCRETE STONE PROTECTOR MAX can be stored in its original, closed container at 0-30 oC for at least 24 months from the date indicated on the label. If the product's shelf life has expired, the material may still be good, which must be confirmed by a preliminary test.
After longer storage, a sour cream-like precipitate appears on the material, which must be removed by shaking and stirring thoroughly before use.
Application:
Surface preparation:
Before applying the impregnation agent, the surface to be treated must be cleaned of dirt and harmful substance deposits, salt bloom, and greenish discoloration caused by algae and moss.
Cleaning opens the openings of the capillaries and pores, thus enabling the perfect absorption of the impregnation agent, and can also prevent the impregnated dirty, contaminated surface from being impossible to clean, or only very difficult to clean.
New, not yet contaminated surfaces must be cleaned of coarse particles and dust deposits by sweeping or, if necessary, with compressed air.
Aged surfaces, as well as surfaces heavily contaminated with oil, rubber residue, etc., must be cleaned with superheated steam or high-pressure water before starting the treatment.
Execution:
It is recommended to apply the OIL-REPELLENT PAVEMENT STONE IMPREGNATOR - CONCRETE STONE PROTECTOR MAX to the surface to be treated in two layers by pouring, brushing or large-drop spraying, sprinkling (the material should flow on the surface). The second layer must always be applied before the first layer dries ("wet-on-wet" method)!
The surface to be treated must appear dry to the eye and be absorbent.
Always carry out a test treatment on the surface to be treated. This way, you can calculate, for example, the desired amount of material or the effectiveness of the agent, and thus avoid possible discoloration.
The material requirement depends on the absorbency of the surface: 0.3 - 0.4 l/m2.
The water and oil repellent effect develops after 24 - 48 hours.
Attention: The product must NOT be sprayed or TEDDY-rolled (brushed or sprinkled)!
A szennyeződések eltávolítása:
The contaminated surface can be cleaned with hot water or steam. It is preferable to use a high-pressure cleaning device (e.g. 90 oC, 20 bar). After cleaning, the protection must be repeated!
Any dirt on the treated surface: oil, grease or paint, must be cleaned immediately, because, for example, paint, if it dries on the surface, is particularly difficult to clean.
Attention: You can use it on a monument or a monument-like building only at your own risk.
Caution: The surface to be treated must not be overheated!
Treatment temperature: 10-30 oC.
If you have already treated the surface with something, it may not achieve the effect you want!
