FEATURES:
An aqueous solution of potassium methylsiliconate that facilitates the removal of grout residue.
MONUMENT EP 25-00 reacts with the carbon dioxide content of the air to form a type of polymethyl silicone acid, which makes the treated surface water-repellent. Like all silicone types, MONUMENT EP 25-00 can cause white spots on colored surfaces due to uneven application.
The use of MONUMENT EP 25-00 greatly facilitates the removal of grout residues from the surface of natural stones after grouting. With its use, we can also wipe off the grout residues with a wet sponge.

STORAGE:
MONUMENT EP 25-00 can be stored in iron, plastic or glass containers. Zinc-coated aluminum or galvanized containers are unsuitable for storage. In a closed container, MONUMENT EP 25-00 can be stored for two years (24 months) from the date indicated on the label.
The product must always be stored above 0 o
C.
If the material crystallizes due to too low a temperature, it will dissolve again when heated. Then the product must be stirred well. If the product's shelf life has expired, the material may still be good, which must be confirmed by a preliminary test.

MONUMENT EP 25-00 should be used undiluted.
It is advisable to apply the agent to the surface with a brush before grouting. Make sure that the material does not flow into the grout as much as possible. Soak the surface well with the material in 1 layer.
After treatment, wait 2-3 hours before starting grouting (in cool, humid weather, the waiting time is 4-5 hours)!
Always carry out a test treatment on the surface to be treated! This way, we can calculate, for example: the desired amount of material or the effectiveness of the agent.
The treated surface can even be grouted completely. After grouting, wipe the surface with a wet sponge. This may need to be repeated several times, depending on the surface.
If necessary, the washed surface can be further cleaned with DRY CLEANING CEMENT DIRT REMOVER.
After the joint and the surface have completely dried, impregnate it with one of the AQUA STOP W MONUMENT products, depending on the surface.
Attention: The surface to be treated must not be overheated!
Application temperature: 10-30 oC.
The material consumption depends on the absorbency of the surface, for which the following table contains guidelines, which are for information only:
Always perform a test treatment on the surface to be treated. (on 1-2 m2)! This way we can calculate and check, for example, the desired amount of material or the effectiveness of the agent.
SAFETY MEASURES:
MONUMENT EP 25-00 is a highly alkaline and corrosive substance. When handling the product, wear rubber gloves and safety glasses! In case of splashes on the skin, wash it off with plenty of water. If the product gets into the eyes, wash it off immediately with plenty of water and call a doctor due to its caustic and corrosive effects.
Clothing soaked with MONUMENT EP 25-00 must be removed immediately. For more detailed instructions, please refer to the “Safety Data Sheet”, which can be obtained from the manufacturer or the dealer.
