What is Fireplace Glass Cleaner for?

FIREPLACE GLASS CLEANER is a specialised cleaner.

It removes smoke and soot deposits from the glass surfaces of fireplaces and stoves.

When used as directed, it does not damage the fireplace gasket during cleaning.

Recommended use: fireplace and stove glass, firebox glass, glass doors.

Tip: if the deposit is thick, work in several short cycles and do not let the product dry on the surface.

How to use
1) Preparation
Ensure the glass surface is cold. Carefully scrape off loose, heavy deposits if present.
2) Apply the product
Spray FIREPLACE GLASS CLEANER onto the glass surface undiluted from the trigger bottle.
3) Dwell time
Leave briefly so the product can loosen smoke and soot deposits.
4) Wipe and rinse
Wipe with a wet sponge or scouring pad, then rinse the surface thoroughly with plenty of water. Repeat if needed.
Warning: do not apply the product on hot surfaces. On hot metal the product may bake on the surface; on hot glass the glass may crack. Also make sure the cleaner does not dry on the surface.
Coverage

Actual consumption depends on deposit thickness and the condition of the glass surface.

As a general guideline, you can expect around 10 to 20 square metres per litre per cleaning cycle.

On heavily sooted glass, consumption may be higher because the process may need repeating.

Storage and safety

Store the product in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight.

Keep it away from incompatible materials (for example acids and acid-based cleaners), heat and ignition sources.

In original, unopened packaging it is generally stable for 24 months at temperatures between 0 and 35 degrees Celsius.

During use, wear protective gloves and safety glasses. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
