What is Yacht Cleaner for?

Yacht Cleaner an eco-friendly, specialised cleaner.

With this product you can easily remove dirt and deposits from plastic, metal and wood surfaces on boats and yachts.

It is suitable for cleaning algae-contaminated surfaces below the waterline and for removing residues of antifouling coatings.

Recommended surfaces: plastic and metal surfaces, and treated wooden surfaces on the hull and deck.

Tip: for heavier soiling, work in smaller sections and in multiple passes so the cleaner stays wet on the surface.
How to use
1) Surface preparation
Remove stubborn dirt and heavy deposits (for example shells or thick algae films) mechanically first. The surface may be slightly damp.
2) Apply the product
Apply Yacht Cleaner undiluted with a sprayer, brush or sponge. Leave it to work briefly.
3) Agitate
Work the surface with a wet brush or sponge to loosen dirt and coating residues.
4) Rinse and check
Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. For heavier soiling, repeat the process.
Warning: do not let the cleaner dry on the surface. Do not work in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces. Always do a test clean on a less visible area first.
Coverage

Actual consumption depends on the level of soiling and the surface texture.

As a general guideline, plan for about 5–10 square metres per litre per cleaning cycle.

On heavily soiled, algae-covered or oily surfaces, consumption may be higher, especially if repeated treatments are required.

Storage and safety

Store the product in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight.

In the original, unopened packaging it is typically stable for at least 24 months when stored between 0 and 35 degrees Celsius.

When using the product, wear protective gloves and safety goggles. If splashed on skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.
